Meet the Management Team


CEO and Co-Founder

Nick Dunning qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Arthur Andersens after leaving Oxford University.

He spent 15 years in the HiTech industry and worked abroad in the US and Hong Kong for several years. The last 10 of which he spent working in Europe where he was responsible for $5B in Revenue and 7,000 employee’s. Nick joined Countrywide plc in 2007 where he was Commercial Director, where his main role was running the Lettings Division. During his tenure at Countrywide, the lettings division grew EBITDA 400% to around £40M EBITDA, primarily by opening nearly 200 new offices and acquiring in excess of 100 businesses.


Commercial Director and Co-Founder

Matt is a graduate of Loughborough University of Technology and is a qualified accountant.

Matt has worked for Safeway and Dell before a seven year stint at Countrywide plc where he initially set up the Online Marketing function before spending the last few years as Chief Marketing Officer for the group.


Acquisitions and Integrations, Director and Co-Founder

Graham has 14 years senior management experience within the residential lettings industry.

Early career roles included being Sales Director at a leading UK plc in the building materials sector and time spent as a consultant advising Chinese manufacturing corporations exporting to the UK. He was appointed Chief Executive of Ashton Burkinshaw in 2003 and successfully brought three divergent businesses together into one new cohesive, expanding and profitable brand. In 2007 after 4 years of growth, he negotiated the successful sale of the company to the industry leader, Countrywide. Graham’s next 7 years were as a Managing Director of the residential lettings division at Countrywide plc, where he was actively involved in 19 acquisitions.


Chief Financial Officer

Julian joined Nick Dunning Associates in April 2017 from Countrywide plc where he had worked for 16 years.

There he had a range of roles including 10 years as finance director of the lettings division and more recently National Sales and Lettings Finance Director. Julian has exceptional experience of successfully acquiring and merging businesses having overseen the opening of around 200 new offices and the acquisition of around 125 businesses within the letting division to become Countrywide’s most profitable division.


Managing Director Group Operations

Bruce spent his early career in the Leisure industry, B2C and B2B sales across the UK. He has worked in the property market since 1996, holding various senior management roles since 2004 for privately owned, VC/PE backed and FTSE 250 companies.

Along with significant Lettings experience, Bruce has been responsible for most property services business including Property Sales, Financial Services, Insurance, Maintenance, Block Management, Relocation and Portfolio Management. With a strong focus on delivering customer service through people and systems, he is significantly experienced in mergers and acquisitions, network expansion and financial growth.


Managing Director Operations

Vince joined Countywide, the UK’s largest property services group, in October 2004 when Countrywide acquired Bradford & Bingley Estate Agents.

Vince proceeded to hold a number of senior positions leading both the Mortgage Services sales force and the Estate Agency division. He was also instrumental in a number of key acquisitions, with integrating Group Services within core Estate Agency along with the development of their Lettings branch footprint. Vince commenced his career as a Trainee Surveyor at Frank Innes in Nottingham and graduated from Trent University with a BSc in Urban Estate Surveying.
