After many weeks of indulging over the Christmas period, January is the most popular time of year for people to strive to eat healthier. This month we have chosen healthy lunch spot, Ethos, as our Stirling Scoff Spot.
Located just off the busy shopping location of Oxford Street, Ethos is a meat-free ‘pay by weight’ restaurant with exciting interiors and nourishing food. If you’ve never come across a ‘pay by weight’ restaurant before, the concept is simple: all the food is laid out like a buffet, you choose what you would like to eat, and then you go to the till. Here they will weigh your food and you pay for how heavy your food is instead of what you choose.
When it comes to choice, even though it’s meat-free you won’t be disappointed. With many different colourful salads and hot dishes from all around the world you’ll be fighting for space on your plate, walking round in circles deciding what to try first. Some of Stirling Ackroyd’s favourites are the halloumi bites, scotch eggs and the good green salad.
Not only is the food beautiful here but the award winning interiors are just as impressive. With a blend of marble, blues and golds, interior designers I AM have created a neutral and luxurious atmosphere that is right on trend. One of the key features of the design is the 4m high Birch trees standing majestically in the middle of the restaurant. These deliver a natural and organic element making the whole experience nourishing and inspiring.
With the choice of eating in or taking it away, Ethos is the perfect place to take a break and give yourself that much needed boost before an afternoon of hard work.
