We are happy to confirm that we have been acquired by Nick Dunning Associates, a firm led by experienced senior ex-agency staff, who will invest in the Stirling Ackroyd brand and branch network through a refurbishment and infrastructure upgrade programme. It says it will seek to treble the business in size in three years, through organic growth and acquisition. This is the third acquisition for Nick Dunning Associates, following the purchase of Adams Property in June and Badger Holdings Group in January.

Stirling Ackroyd Acquisition

Nick Dunning, chief executive of Nick Dunning Associates says: "We are very excited about this acquisition and delighted to be able to make this announcement. Stirling Ackroyd is a well-known and successful agency in London with a committed and loyal team behind it. We hope to grow the business over the next few years and further increase its presence in the city fringes and beyond."

The NDA leadership team consists of chief executive Nick Dunning, sales director Graham Harrison, commercial director Matt Hewitt and chief financial officer Julian Irby, all of whom worked together at Countrywide in the past.

Since the acquisition there has been some changes to the Stirling Ackroyd management structure to best serve the new expansion strategy:

Stephen Wilson will continue in his position as Managing Director and continue to steer the company in its new direction.

Former Head of Commercial Agency and longest serving member of staff, Brett Sullings has been promoted to Director – Stirling Ackroyd Commercial and will focus on expanding the Commercial department.

Eugenio Frisoli, also a former long-term member of Nick Dunning’s Countrywide team, has been brought onto the board as Regional Director of Sales and Lettings. He will work with the sales teams to create an ongoing residential strategy.

Previously the Director of Lettings and Property Management, Daniela Troon is now Operations Director and will create streamlined processes that will make Stirling Ackroyd a business that continues to be easy to work with both internally and externally.

Looking forward to the future, Stephen Wilson says “We are delighted to have been acquired by a company like Nick Dunning Associates, who not only recognise the value of the Stirling Ackroyd brand but also the staff who have worked hard to make the business what it is today. The expansion strategy, along with the new Stirling Ackroyd Directorship structure and the commitment of our staff, will ensure the ongoing success of the business for many years to come.
