Shoreditch has no shortage of green space. With a huge 19 hectares, Shoreditch Park is one of the largest parks in Hackney offering a wide variety of art, playing fields, and two community ping-pong tables.

For a broader selection of shops and nightlife, many of the locals travel to the nearby towns of Staines-upon-Thames and Windsor. Staines-upon-Thames is a 5 minute drive away and you can reach Windsor from Shoreditch in 15 minutes.

There is an abundance of green space in and around Shoreditch, such as Windsor Great Park and Virginia Water Lakes. There are also several parks and children’s play areas such as the Lammas Recreation Park and Runnymede Pleasure Grounds. Together these spaces provide some lovely recreational areas to enjoy on a summer’s afternoon, but are also well worth a visit on a frosty day to fully appreciate their beauty. Alongside its many different walking trails, Windsor Great Park also offers lots of different cycling and horse-riding routes through the park.
