SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY

Shooting Star Chase is a leading children’s hospice charity caring for babies, children and young people with life-limiting conditions, and their families.

Whether lives are measured in days, weeks, months or years, they make every moment count. They support families from diagnosis to end of life and throughout bereavement with a range of nursing, practical, emotional and medical care. To help support our corporate charity please view their upcoming challenge events.

Their bespoke support is free of charge to families and available 365 days a year. The care service includes short breaks at the two hospices (Shooting Star House in Hampton and Christopher’s in Guildford), Hospice at Home, day care, symptom management, end-of-life care, bereavement care and a comprehensive range of therapies and support groups for the whole family.

Shooting Star Chase is a charity that means a huge amount to all of our employees and having supported them since 2001 and raised over £260,000.00 for them to date, we are proud to be one of their longest standing corporate partners. It costs £10 million a year just to maintain their current level of care and they currently support over 700 families. Less than 10% of that income comes from government funding, so they rely on supporters’ generosity to keep the service running. What’s more, there are many more families desperate for their vital support, so it’s crucial we raise more funds to provide more care.
