Although small, Englefield Green has a delightful range of things to do and has easy access to its bigger neighbouring towns of Egham and Staines-upon-Thames.

Englefield Green offers an array of small village shops including Tangerine and Green florist and Picnic on the Green deli with some beautiful independent cafes to eat and drink in too. You can also find a selection of local pubs which enhance the village feel of Englefield Green.

Englefield Green grew from a hamlet in Egham into a village in its own right and is located in the south easterly region of Windsor Great Park. Easy access to Windsor Great Park is one of the many attractive features of life in Englefield Green. This is a Royal Park covering 2020 hectares which has a Deer Park and offers boundless opportunities for walking, cycling and horse-riding. Another popular destination is the nearby Virginia Water Lakes.

Englefield Green also has access to the River Thames at Old Windsor. From here you can enjoy boat trips and fantastic views of Surrey’s natural beauty.

The Savill Court Hotel and Spa is situated in the heart of the village and Savill Gardens is an exotic woodland space with a rose garden that was opened by the Queen in 2010. There are several notable historical landmarks and tourist attractions such as: The Royal Air Force Memorial, The Magna Carta Memorial and The John F Kennedy Memorial. Visiting these locations makes for a great family afternoon out.

Despite being a small village Englefield Green is very well connected and allows buyers and tenants easy access to London and the rest of the UK.

From Englefield Green it will take you approximately 50 minutes to get to London Waterloo from Egham train station. If you chose to travel from Virginia Water to London Waterloo it will take you approximately 45 minutes. There are also connecting trains to Reading, Windsor, Weybridge and Staines-upon-Thames.

Englefield Green also has easy access to the M25 and the M3 meaning that it is easy for you to get in and around the whole UK. Heathrow Airport is just 15 minutes by car and Gatwick Airport is 45 minutes away.
