Previously thought of as an industrial area, Nine Elms is fast becoming the new trendy London residential and commercial destination. In this new riverside community and on its doorstep you will find fashionable blocks of apartments, businesses, restaurants and many other things to do.

In Nine Elms and nearby you will find plenty of green spaces for the residents of all ages to enjoy, the New Riverside Gardens in Nine Elms was opened in 2013 and marked a key point in the regeneration of the area. On the doorstep is the 200-acre green space Battersea Park, offering views of the Thames, a boating lake, children’s zoo and the Pump House Art Gallery.

Primary schools in Nine Elms, Chelsea and Westminster include: Archbishop Sumner Church of England Primary School, Charles Dickens Primary School, Friars Primary School and Griffin Primary School.

Secondary schools in Nine Elms, Chelsea and Westminster include: Oasis Academy South Bank, Notre Dame Roman Catholic Girls’ School and St Saviour’s and St Olave’s Church of England School.

Further and Higher Education establishments include: Lewisham Southwark College and London South Bank University.

London Bridge, Blackfriars, Waterloo and Southwark are just some of the local well-connected tube stations. Nearby Waterloo Overground train station provides travel across West London, South London, Docklands, East London and Highbury and Islington. Regular boat services stop at Waterloo Pier, Savoy Pier, Blackfriars, Bankside, London Bridge and other Thames riverside locations. The area is well served by the bus network with routes across London, to destinations including Finsbury Park, Putney, Victoria, Oxford Circus and further afield.
