A sit down with a happy landlord

We sat down with one of our landlords to find out what they like about our service and why they chose Stirling Ackroyd to let their property.

Where did you first hear about Stirling Ackroyd?

“When looking for an agent to let my property, I turned to Google and found Stirling Ackroyd. I noticed that they had many local branches across London and seemed to feature highly in these locations. That was really important to me as I wanted an agent that had a good online presence as I know that is key when looking for tenants as nowadays everyone looks online first.”

What was your experience like working with your local branch?

“I really liked working with the local branch, the staff were all really friendly and worked to build a rapport with me personally. I think it was this that made me chose them over other agents. I feel like they made an effort to connect with me and kept me in the loop about the marketing of my property and when they had booked viewings.”

Did you appreciate that a full marketing package was included in your fee?

“Yes. In today’s market, I always look for good value for money and I really liked the service offering that Stirling Ackroyd presented when they came to value my property. Not only did I get full professional photography and floorplans, but I also got a virtual tour which I really like, and I think helped show tenants the space on offer. Additionally, I got a free Featured Property slot on rightmove which meant my property was placed in prime position for tenants to see.”

What service level did you opt for?

“I opted for the Rent Collect Plus service as I live near my rental property and am comfortable managing my maintenance issues. I did however feel like I needed the support of a professional accounts team dealing with the collection of my rent. I also liked the added benefit of the Rent and Legal Protection as this gives me extra peace of mind that my rent will always be paid to me.”

Would you recommend a friend to Stirling Ackroyd?

“So far, based on the level of service I have received I would definitely recommend a friend to let their property through Stirling Ackroyd. I feel like I have been kept in the loop and have several teams assisting with my property let and I know I am being well looked after.”
