Roll Up, Roll Up And Do Some Good To Support The Shooting Star Children’s Hospice

05 May 2022 / Corporate News

Stirling Ackroyd June Charity Bike expected to raise £6000+ for essential end-of-life care for children and their families

On the morning of Friday 24th June, a team from Stirling Ackroyd will leave our West Byfleet Head Office with a goal to cycle to every branch in our network within 24-hours – a distance of approximately 150 miles. Expected to finish one day later we are fundraising for the Shooting Star Children’s Hospices.

During this epic challenge, we will be joined by our Stirling Ackroyd colleagues, some of whom will join the journey for just a few branches or all – depending on stamina and the mood! Other team fundraisers will be covering the same distance at home or in the gym on a static bike or smart trainer! Everyone can get involved.

Donations Please!

We’ll be raising funds for Shooting Star Children’s Hospices and your  donations will help make every moment count for babies, children and young people with life limiting conditions, and their families.

Hospice care offers a wide range of services. People think of a children’s hospice as a sad place, and sad things do happen here, but it’s a bright and sunny place. We have swings out in the garden, like any playground, and children do enjoy their time here.
