On Friday 26th May, a team of Stirling Ackroyd Colleagues will take part in a 26.2-mile marathon around Central London in aid of Shooting Star Children’s Hospice.
Running a marathon requires perseverance, dedication, and a strong will but knowing that the end result will make a profound difference to the lives of children facing life-limiting conditions, is precisely why an inspiring group of Stirling Ackroyd colleagues aim to accomplish the 26.2-mile marathon around Central London.
Last year saw us raise over £30,000 taking part in several fundraising events, one of our most successful was the 145-mile bike ride around our Stirling Ackroyd branches. This year we hope to raise more by taking part in similar events. Our Easter Baking Challenge saw us kick start the fundraising for 2023 with over £1,000 raised.
