Stirling Ackroyd Performance Academy Induction program
Designed to ensure everyone regardless of the role here at Stirling Ackroyd feels fully supported from their first day all the way through their probation period. To ensure that they achieve the required competency levels to be successful we support everyone with role specific:
- blended e-learning,
- Induction webinars with subject matter experts
- Instructional videos for key systems
We offer a range of accredited course which are fully funded and run by our apprenticeship partner and offer colleagues the opportunity to learn on the job and gain a recognised qualification from industry leading organisations. The subjects offered cover a wide range but include:
- Level 3 Housing and Property Management
- Professional skills such as HR, Marketing, IT, Accountancy and Management etc
Continuous in-role development
Designed for anyone within Stirling Ackroyd Group. The content and courses are based on performance review feedback, specific team requests or development plans, including:
- Communication skills, overcoming objections, customer service, performance management and effective 121’s
- Hybrid working
- Microsoft Office skills for Excel, Word and PowerPoint
Live Coaching Days
Regular live coaching which include role specific feedback for all of our front line colleagues to help them improve their agency skills from viewings to market appraisals. This ensures that they deliver the best customer experience.
Empowered to Progress
A mentorship scheme which matches senior leaders from around the business with more junior colleagues who want to benefit from the guidance and experience they can offer.

Leadership Enhancement Program
Designed to develop our leaders core capabilities through 121 coaching, and become even more effective leaders. The program covers a wide range of leadership capabilities including:
- Time and change management
- Coaching for performance
Continuous Performance Coaching
We ensure that every colleague receives regular 121 meetings with their line manager so they can understand how they are performing, receive recognition, discuss development areas and ensure their continued well being.
These are further supported by twice yearly Performance Development Reviews in which the previous 6 months performance is reviewed, next 6 months objectives are agreed and a personal development plan is put in place.
